New Paltz (NY) School Board Unanimously Passes Resolution Against High Stakes Testing

In the 60s NP was famous for hippies, pot, and radical politics. It was sometimes referred to as the Haight-Ashbury of the east coast. Later it became a refuge for the eccentric. Apparently it still travels to the beat of a different drum.
