The oppression ouroboros: intersectionality will eat itself

Another interesting deconstruction of the worst, counterrevolutionary nonsense to invade the Left. In its beginnings intersectionality was a welcome, fresh look at the Left’s shortcomings and failings. Some of the intersectionalists have produced some valuable criticism (Patricia Hill Collins leaps to mind), and have contributed constructively to Left discourse, particularly as it relates to praxis. But taken to its inescapable conclusions, intersectionality is oafishly retrograde, an intellectual dead end, and impossibly divisive. I’m delighted to see that the long awaited backlash is underway. I’m not alone anymore.
